Artwork
“I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way—things I had no words for.”
Georgia O’Keeffe
There are many forms of visual art: painting, sculpture, and metalwork just to name a few. Each piece has its own history, its own story to tell. The artists on this page want to share those stories with you.
Benedictine
In Pecos, New Mexico is a Benedictine Monastery that is open to men, women, and couples, I lived there for a period of time in the mountains around Sante Fe. The buildings were much larger than the one in my picture, but they had the same style.
Picnic For One
Picnic for One is an original piece for those that find quality and serenity in the concept of girlhood and in the moments you have with yourself. It's a perfect spring day. You buy yourself a bouquet of your favorite fresh flowers.
Mountain Spring
Somewhere I got hooked on fishing for trout and became a fly fisherman. Hiking up above timberline, I was always looking for a lost lake filled with fish that had never been caught. What I failed to realize was that fish just don’t get up that high.
Endless Toward The Light
Often seen as symbols of hope, resilience, and unwavering faith, sunflowers naturally turn toward the light, a quiet reminder to do the same. This idea continues to resonate in my life and has become a recurring theme in my paintings.
Not If But When
As I have often told my daughters and their friends (girls and boys alike) when setting goals or desires for themselves don’t ever refer to it as “if” I can achieve it but when I achieve it.
Misunderstood
Some things don't need to be fixed or softened to be worthy of the water they swim in. This one's for every person who's been read wrong before they ever opened their mouth.
You Have Something To Say.
